Once again organized by the Salsa Sisters, our aim is to build on the great success of the first two years and make this Festival the best yet.
Vilnius, the capital city of Lithuania, is European Capital of Culture in 2009, following on from Liverpool in 2008, so there could be better time for you to visit this stunningly beautiful city. In spring Vilnius's magnificent old town comes to life. Its historic buildings and fantastic cultural heritage combine with a vibrant nightlife to make it one of the most popular destinations amongst the new European Union member states.
The first two salsa festivals in Vilnius were renowned for the great atmosphere which they generated. The 2009 Festival, which will take place in one location for your convenience, promises to be every bit as good.
The instructors have been chosen not just for their salsa teaching skills, but also for the entertaining way in which they take their classes. This will make the 2009 Festival particularly vibrant and fun - we can promise a festive atmosphere throughout!
The evening shows will be extra-special with a strong Baltic flavour as we have instructors taking part from all the Baltic States.
So make sure you don't miss out on the salsa event of the year. If you have never visited Vilnius before, this is the time to come. You can't fail to fall in love with this wonderful city and the 3rd Vilnius Salsa Festival will provide the best possible environment for you to enhance your salsa technique (from beginners to advanced), meet new friends and dance the night away.
